The landmarks shown here are the Bull & Finch Pub - which inspired the well-known television series 'Cheers' - and a replica of a boat from the days of the Boston Tea Party. In 1773, Americans threw a consignment of tea from Britain into the sea in protest at new taxes imposed upon them by the British government. These events paved the way for the American revolution, and it has been hard to find a decent cuppa in America ever since!
