Parliament House, Canberra

The new parliament house in Canberra was opened in 1988. It is the largest building in the southern hemisphere. An architectural masterpiece, its entrance hall features green marble pillars resembling eucalyptus trees. It houses a fine art collection, notably including a truly magnificent Arthur Boyd tapestry.
